This is the first time we will host our General Assembly in the United States and we are grateful to all the support from our host New Balance COO and WFSGI Board Member Dave Wheeler. This year’s Board Election will see our Chair/Co-Chairs role rotating to the U.S. as the country opens an incredible decade of sport with the FIFA Men’s World Cup in June followed by the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It’s fitting that we kick-off our new three-year strategic plan at The TRACK at New Balance. This iconic sports location is part of the wider Boston Landing Campus which is home to famous teams such as the Boston Bruins and Celtics. The TRACK serves a hub for professional, college and community athletes and houses a state-of-the-art Sports Research Lab supporting New Balance product innovation.  We are excited to offer a tour of the track and this amazing research facitlity as part of our General Assembly programme.

Our General Assembly Networking Dinner takes place at the adjacent Warrior Ice Arena, home to the Boston Bruins, where members will have the chance to mingle with our our newly elected board and invited guest speakers.

On April 22, the newly elected WFSGI Board will meet for the first time followed by our WFSGI Advocacy Advisory Council Meeting on April 23.
