WFSGI CEO Emma Zwiebler appointed vice-chair of Business at OECD (BIAC) Health Committee

First seat for Sporting Goods Industry at the BIAC table

WFSGI CEO Emma Zwiebler has become the first member of the sporting goods industry to be appointed vice-chair of Business at OECD’s Health Committee following approval from their Executive Board on February 17th.

Hanni Rosenbaum, BIAC Executive Director extended a warm welcome to Emma and the WFSGI saying, “Your experience at the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry and your comprehensive expertise will be of great value when conveying business priorities to governments and OECD representatives.”

 

Emma went on to share, “Over the past year I’ve witnessed firsthand the significance and influence of the BIAC community.  As vice-chair I now look forward to collaborating further across industries to help amplify the health narrative—especially regarding the importance of prevention and the transversal benefits of physical activity and sports.”
