Founded in 1978, WFSGI is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of the sporting goods industry. Our membership covers the entire value chain from manufacturers, brands, retailers along with national federations and associations.
We are a members-driven association created by our members for our members to unite and represent the global sporting goods industry to enable business growth and a healthier, more active planet for all.

Thürl PRThe WFSGI is composed of 32 Board Members and supporting Executive Committee. The WFSGI Secretariat leads committees and working groups which exchange information on various non-competitive issues and topics.
WFSGI Members meet at least once per year in an Ordinary General Assembly which approves an annual budget and the strategic direction as proposed by the Board. The Board and Chairs are elected for a three-year term from nominees across the Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe.
